Tennessee Home Inspectors has always been prompt and helpful for all inspections they've completed that I've been involved with. The reports are always sent punctually and the inspectors are very kind, knowledgeable and patient! I'm a 21 questions kind of gal and like to have an understanding of what the inspectors are seeing so I really appreciate their thoroughness throughout the inspection process. The inspection was helpful and informative and the inspector answered my questions and offered tips along the way. We had an issue coordinating inspection of the roof exterior due to recent freezing rain leaving ice on the roof. However they did come through for me and finished off the inspection later. We got the final report quickly and in the timeline we needed. It was well organized and easy to read.

Kyle Wynn did an excellent job on our home inspection. He called ahead and arranged everything with the Realtor and also met us on site at the end of the inspection. He was extremely thorough and knowledgable about the issues he identified in the house we are considering to buy. We requested the full package of base inspection, radon testing, termite, and air quality samples (to test for mold). He was very professional and honest in the inspection and provided a detailed report with all necessary repairs and clear photos of the issues. He even went on the roof and in the tiny attic space. He even saved us money on an extra air quality test by pointing out the existence of mold in one corner under the basement stairs. Instead of testing the air quality there, we requested a mold swab to identify it (although this was an additional charge, he let us know about this option well in advance and was not at all pushy about it). He also referred us to a specialist for a possible major foundation issue. We are still in the process of getting that opinion back, but if we get bad news he will have saved us many thousands of dollars! I would definitely recommend Kyle and the TN Home Inspectors for anyone thinking of buying a home. - A note: the radon and termite inspections are scheduled through a third party. We haven't gotten those back yet and cannot speak to their quality but it was convenient not having to arrange that ourselves.

Aaron is a top notch inspector , he allows me to continue my real estate business of purchasing and renovating homes , as I am approaching 350 pounds I do not do roofs crawl spaces or honestly ladders anymore. However his services include going where I cannot and honestly won’t go, as with any construction/ renovation project there are ever so often unforseeable issues but with Aaron as my eyes, hands and feet on site I am seldom unaware of a problem or concern before I bid on the property! I’m short he has been a professional lifesaver that has allowed me to continue to successfully provide for myself and my family as well as my crew and their fsmilys!

I hate that I am having to give low marks, but the experience with our new home has warranted it. I have used Tennessee Home Inspectors on properties in the past with no issue at all. So there was no question of who to call when I was buying our current home. Since it was taking place during the pandemic, it was recommended that no one be there but the inspector, so I followed that suggestion and didn't go. I really wish I had, as there were MULTIPLE OBVIOUS things that were missed. Those things are now costing us a fortune! The plumber was shocked at the fact that nothing came up on the inspection report regarding what he had to fix, and the hvac... well, I don't know what we're going to do about it. We're just screwed, I guess. Thanks a lot. We'll think of you when the kids are shivering under an empty tree this year at Christmas. I'd try to get the massive fee I paid for this inspection back, but it wouldn't do any good. We've already put in 3x the amount to fix what you should have seen in front of your face. I hope we never have to buy another home, because I really won't know who to trust now. 🙁
We hired Tennessee Home Inspectors to inspect our new home that was a new build. Three years later when we went to sell our home the new buyers had a new inspection with a different company and they found OUR HOME HAD STRUCTURAL ISSUES AND WAS NOT BUILT UP TO CODE!!! These issues were present at the time our house was built and it was considered a latent defect and Tennessee Home Inspectors missed it?! We had a structural engineer to also inspect and confirm this. We had to pay thousands of dollars to get this fixed. When tried to contact the owner of TN. Home Inspectors to inform him of this he wouldn’t return my phone call? Do not waste your money! If I could give them ZERO stars I would have!!!!

Absolutely fantastic service! The inspection lasted about three hours (1800 sq. ft). He looked for things I would've never thought about. Aaron is a top notch inspector , he allows me to continue my real estate business of purchasing and... renovating homes , as I am approaching 350 pounds I do not do roofs crawl spaces or honestly ladders anymore. However his services include going where I cannot and honestly won’t go, as with any construction/ renovation project there are ever so often unforseeable issues but with Aaron as my eyes, hands and feet on site I am seldom unaware of a problem or concern before I bid on the property! I’m short he has been a professional lifesaver that has allowed me to continue to successfully provide for myself and my family as well as my crew and their fsmilys!read more

I’m such a believer in Aaron and his team that not only do I recommend them as a REALTOR to buyers... but I personally used them recently on an inspection for a home purchase for myself and my family. I hate that I am having to give low marks, but the experience with our new home has warranted it. I... have used Tennessee Home Inspectors on properties in the past with no issue at all. So there was no question of who to call when I was buying our current home. Since it was taking place during the pandemic, it was recommended that no one be there but the inspector, so I followed that suggestion and didn't go. I really wish I had, as there were MULTIPLE OBVIOUS things that were missed. Those things are now costing us a fortune! The plumber was shocked at the fact that nothing came up on the inspection report regarding what he had to fix, and the hvac... well, I don't know what we're going to do about it. We're just screwed, I guess. Thanks a lot. We'll think of you when the kids are shivering under an empty tree this year at Christmas. I'd try to get the massive fee I paid for this inspection back, but it wouldn't do any good. We've already put in 3x the amount to fix what you should have seen in front of your face. I hope we never have to buy another home, because I really won't know who to trust now. 🙁read more

We hired Tennessee Home Inspectors to inspect our new home that was a new build. Three years later... when we went to sell our home the new buyers had a new inspection with a different company and they found OUR HOME HAD STRUCTURAL ISSUES AND WAS NOT BUILT UP TO CODE!!! These issues were present at the time our house was built and it was considered a latent defect and Tennessee Home Inspectors missed it?! We had a structural engineer to also inspect and confirm this. We had to pay thousands of dollars to get this fixed. When tried to contact the owner of TN. Home Inspectors to inform him of this he wouldn’t return my phone call? Do not waste your money! If I could give them ZERO stars I would have!!!!read more
